In cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) , The Ministry of Youth held a workshop entitled " Engaging Stakeholders in the Operational Plans of the National Youth Strategy (2019-2025)" in Amman on Tuesday 14 Feb. 2023.

The workshop  aimed to consult with the private sector and civil society organizations who provide services for youth and implement youth-centered programs, and came within the framework of implementing the Fourth Commitment of the Fifth OGP National Plan (2021-2025) related to " Strengthening the role of youth in developing and implementing governmental plans and strategies related to youth.

 During the workshop, the consultations focused on the executive and operational plans of the National Youth Strategy, and also included discussing and specifying the role of CSOs and private sector in the implementation of Fourth Commitment of the Fifth OGP NAP related to Youth Empowerment.

A large audience of representatives from private sector and civil society organizations attended the workshop,  during which, an extensive discussion took place, and participants presented a list of recommendations and suggestions to be embedded in the final version of the strategy operational plans.
