Apply proposals for the 5th OGP NAP commitments

Invite citizens to present proposals for the 5th OGP NAP commitments.

A survey will be published on MoPIC website along with proposals’ criteria. Proposals can be submitted by one or a group of individuals, a single or a group of NGOs, local authorities, trade unions, the private sector, etc.

After the submission deadline, a report on the results of this stage will be published. This will include a preliminary evaluation of the proposals in terms of formal criteria, and this will be submitted to the NAP's working group for discussion and evaluation (Activity 9).

Conduct the first meeting of the OGP’s 5th NAP working group to review the received proposals for the commitments, to shortlist the top 10 ideas, and invite the applicants to present and defend their ideas in the following meeting.

20 July

Conduct the second meeting of the OGP’s 5th NAP working group to listen to the applicants' proposals and ask questions. The proposals will be graded by the working group. The working group will explain limitations and challenges to take into consideration in the final proposals. In the event that the received proposals are less than ten, all of them will be invited to the first meeting above.

26 July

When the working group makes a final decision on the submitted ideas, the winners are requested to form a team of a minimum of five stakeholders (experts, NGOs, MP/local authorities' members, etc.) to join a Task Force (TF) for each commitment that will work on developing the commitment. Government agencies will be contacted to appoint focal points from the relevant authorities to the proposed commitments’ topics to join the Task Forces.

The formation of each commitment team (representatives of the government and civil society): 17 August
