In pursuance of entrenching the principles and values of the OGP in enhancing public participation, the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, the Legislation and Opinion Bureau, and the Impact Evaluation Unit at the Prime Ministry opened a public invitation on Monday, 24/10/2022 for civil society organizations, private sector, academic institution, and citizens, etc.
The invitation aims at receiving input, suggestions and recommendations from non-governmental stakeholders concerning the structure of the unified electronic participation portal through filling out an online questionnaire
The e-platform is currently being developed by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship as part of the activities of implementing the second commitment of the 5th OGP (2021-2025), related to "enhancing community participation in the decision-making process through electronic means."
The portal aims to unifying and institutionalizing e-participation process and to enable citizens to contribute to decision-making with regard to public services, public projects and draft legislation. [1] [2] [3] [4]
The public invitation will remain open until Thursday 15/12/2022.
