Within the activities of the of the second commitment of the 5th OGP NAP related to enhancing civic participation through electronic means. Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation in partnership with Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Legislation and Opinion Legislation and Opinion Beaurea, and Impact Evaluation Unit at Prime Ministry conducted a workshop with non-governmental bodies. The Workshop took place in Amman, on Wednesday 9/11/2022 and aimed at consulting and discussing with attendees the e-platform structure.
The purpose of developing the e- consultation platform is to unify and institutionalize electronic participation within government institutions, and enable citizens participation in the decision-making process in terms of voting on government projects, laws and public services.
The workshop was widely attended by various stakeholders representing CSOs, Chambers of Commerce, Labour Union, Professional Associations, private sectors, activists and focal points of implementing agencies.
A deep profound discussion then took place among the participants who submitted a list of recommendations and suggestion to be embedded in the final version of the platform conceptualization document. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]
